    <directions>Have the fruit, brandy, wine and orange juice well chilled.  Slice the lemon, lime and orange into thin rounds and place in    a large glass/ceramic pitcher.  Pour in the rum and sugar.  Chill in refrigerator for 2 hours to develop the flavors (stir occasionally to dissolve sugar).

When ready to serve, crush the fruit lightly with a wooden spoon and stir in the wine and orange juice.  Adjust sweetness to taste.

I changed the rum to brandy because we did a comparison and found the brandy made for a better tasting sangria.  This recipe used to be on my favorite site (allrecipes.com) , but they removed it, as they do with other recipes.  Just make sure you copy or print them out when you see them!!
