    <directions>heat oil in heavy pan over medium heat. add garlic, bay leaf, and crushed red pepper. saute until garlic is tender, about 1 minute. add wine and bring to a boil. add tomatoes, bring to a simmer. simmer until tomatoes begin to break down(about 10 minutes is good). add seafood and basil, cook covered until seafood is done, tender. serve with warm crusty bread.</directions>
