mine is that there is some kind of sticky that explains what triggers are and how to flag your posts with a trigger warning. and also - to make sure the titles of posts always have a trigger warning and i dont end up reading something that is going to send me into a flashback or panic atrack.
anything along the lines of sexual abuse, phsyciatric abuse, torture, etc. should really have a warning in the header - rather than leading me to the post with a video or interview im one click away from.
i would especially ask that the word ra*e not be used in headings - its immediately triggering and makes it difficult to focus, read other posts, blog, or ignore and be unaffected if i choose not to read the post. i would rather not come onto a place where i feel safe and be constantly exposed to things that are going to send me into nightmares and episodes. i have enough of that in the non internet world.
additionally - you know, some of us may be using public computers.
a "tweet this" button for each post (except private forums, obviously)
the ability to save a post as a draft
not particularly fond of the "teaser" thing since i edit my occupy posts so often, i have to make sure i edit the teaser too, but i'll survive if i'm outvoted on that one
fix the bug that adds an extra quotation mark to hotlinks using html
perhaps more html options either by using code or buttons like they have on forum and blogger sites where you can bullet lists, indent, add links, etc, by highlighting text and hitting a button
really since i started doing so much occupy shit this has come up, but for the average user it probably doesn't, but i thought i'd throw it out anyway.
thanks

re the teaser, yes, it says to just leave it blank but when you're going back and editing, you would have to edit in both boxes, even if it is just to delete the contents of the teaser box. again, something that might only come up with my frequent occupy updates.
Madame Filth is right, the community member accounts don't have a publishing options menu. I just logged in through a standard non-admin account to double check.
Do you see the option to add tags to your journal entries?
If you put a tag on your entry that someone else has also used, it should then be easy for people to click on that and end up in a stream of similar entries from other people. Like 'love' or 'grats' or anything that comes to mind....

@MadameFilth
books!
Hi guys, techmama Lynn here to answer some of these suggestions since some are already available:
Draft: You should be able to click on "Publishing options" and uncheck "published." That will save it as a draft right now.
Teaser: Leave it blank. It will autogenerate a teaser from the message body.
Quotation marks on hotlinks: I can't replicate this.
Thanks!

I am not liking the new links across the top -- there isn't one to the blogs or to the forums : (
PLEASE put those back!!! I was confused when i got here & it took some maneuvering to find this post!
otherwise -- yes, I'd like an easy option to add an image to my blog posts -- I can't recall the code to do it and I don't want to really
I will think on this more later
Thanks for trying to make things better all the time ; )

(wow - my email on file was so old - it was from the old hipmama email!)
MUCH happier with the logical flow of the links on the top of the page, home to log in NICE and I like the "blogs" being re-titled "journals"!
