You know, I still haven't finished my novel from November. I work on it a bit here and there, but not seriously. I feel like I'm abandoning it, and I really do love it. Do you think if I just continued my story from November, but still wrote the 50,000 words on top of what I already have, that would count?

I think the problem with my novel is that it just went around in circles. I had no clear path, just an idea. But I love it. I love the characters and I love the story. It's almost finished, but would a novella at around 35,000. I kind of quit and restart, quit and restart.
I think this time, though, I'm going to write a fictionalized memoir. And if I finished (when I finish?), maybe that will get the juices flowing and I can finish my other project that I keep abandoning.
Let's us campers check in with each other from time to time! I need support. I can get stuff done if someone else holding me accountable, but not if I'm on my own. We'll kick each other's asses!

I picked a fictional story line to fill in using real life stuff -- I like doing that ; )
Today's intro to the character was kinda "fun" -- piecing together a real life scene to a fictional non-related one was a little bit of work, but i'm happy with it so far
3412. This is getting hard. Half of my story is from the perspective of a little girl, but it's first person which I've not done in a story like this. It's hard to write in first person from the perspective of a five year old and still make it sound interesting to adults, you know? But I think it'll be okay!
I have to say, I'm missing the writing buddies and forums that we had with Nanowrimo. Anyone else?

2752. Whew. I'm off to a good start. It's a fictionalized memoir, though. I am emotionally drained! I can't believe I actually married that guy! lol
