Sunflowers September 2010

Sunflowers September 2010

We just got back from Cincinnati, where we went to visit my dad in the hospital. He had a heart attack. He is recovering well but it was a scary time there for a minute. When we got back home I was so happy to see that my sunflowers popped! It cheered me up because my dad, like me, loves sunflowers. Smile

sorry about your dad

but delighted about the sunflowers! Love the pics that show bumble bees gathering pollen. Thanks for sharing.

they're beautiful

and good to come home to after something like that - I love the connection with your dad and hope he keeps getting better.

sunflowers!

Beautiful! I'm sure it means something about the connection btw your dad recovering and the sunflowers blooming. I mean, I know it's just phenology (timing of flowring) but still...

Anyway- here's hoping your dad has a smooth recovery. I'm so sorry you all had to go through that.
