small pleasures
however ragged this week may have left me, there is still the late night pleasure of eating still-warm, silky cheesecake from the baking tin, with a knife, in my tip of a kitchen, knowing I've got the whole darn cake to myself for as long as I can make it last.
One great joy about single parenting/single living is also one of the great downsides - not having to share your adult indulgence/no-one to share it with. Still, today, as most days, the joy is definitely winning over any kind of longing!~
