I need sleep. So does DD and DH

Since at least four or five weeks DD wakes up once or twice almost every night and cries. Sometimes all I have to do is come to her room, talk quietly, put the blankett over her and wait two or three minutes. Sometimes it takes us one or two hours to get her back to sleep. I'm a wretch right now. I'm functioning on autopilot. I am stressed. No good. No good at all.
Maybe it's because her room is quite a bit from our sleeping room. Maybe she's got evil dreams. I don't know, she can't tell. I tried homeopathy, I told her she can trust in us being there. It'ss no help.
So whoever has good ideas give them to me.
