Gratitude - got some - Xsty's on Scan Tv

hello ladies - how is your day going so far?

1. i had what was probably one of the best days of my life today - my girl ms.livewire hosted her first tv show on Scan today, and i was her guest - how lucky am i? this was quite an honor.

2. the show was excellent, the intro and outro were great, it really came together - she asked me questions about being a lady filmmaker and my current projects = we also discussed: female characters in comic book movies, writing, directing, producing, being a woman in this man eating industry, women of color in film, a lot of great stuff.

3. i channel for a few seconds before we roll, i get slightly nervous under the bright lights and 3 cameras in your face is intense, but it always works out. knock wood! i enjoy being behind the camera, today was nice because i was just a guest!

4. i took mars with me, and it was great for her to be on the set, she was at KIRO yesterday with her camp. she helped them carry some tape to and from, they were impressed with her behind the scene knowledge and physical strength. i am lucky to be her mom.

5. i am in love with my life now, things are really coming together. before i head out to shoot these two episodes, i put more make-up on, pee and drink water - i am wearing my black and white: "i heart roger corman" shirt - high heels, standard black denim skirt, hair dyed at 1 am, i am happy to be alive.

6. luke - what can i say dude? thank you for helping me with Rescue. 3 editors, what more can a lady ask for? i really appreciate it!

7. i will finish up my lady jail script this weekend, i can't wait to jump on this....

8. my cells are tingling...

9. i am just one person, a pulse, a cloud, bright blinding sun - a lady who is smiling, cells, muscles, bones, the whole deal.

10. tea. and lot's of it.

11. time for the gym!
