rescue and computer love

1-30. I submitted them yesterday to the NWFF, and logged them in - I can't describe how good I feel about this. In spite of any and all challenges - nothing means more to me, right now.

Thanks for your ongoing love, friendship and unconditional good stuff!

Congratulations!

Well done you, it sounds like you've run a marathon-obstacle-xtreme-challenge course almost daily to get there...so how you celebrating?

i like it!

Love hi cricket - thanks for the shout out - i'll be celebrating tomorrow night!

i'm running from work and home and had to post about this before i left for the day = i appreciate your support!

i'm hooking up with my camera man mike this weekend and we have few kinks that i want to work out with "computer love".

"Rescue" is still being edited, but the funny part is that i had forgotten that it was only a "screener" copy that they needed, we can switch out for the "final cut" when the time comes! my girl ticia kept encouraging me to submit them and i wouldn't listen! shame on me!

i want my films in top shape when they are screened to the public!

so the big q'n for me now is...

are they going to be available online? cos i'd love to see them, having followed some of their labour online, but won't be in the States any time soon! Wink

that may be a naive question, but i'm naive about the film industry so, you know, *shrug*...

yes and your question is a good one!

Love i want to put my films on line, i've been meaning to do this all year - i honestly don't know how! i need to make a few changes and then they'll be ready to roll.

Rescue will be shown on line first, before the debut on the big screen in october.

i'm handing the film off in the next few weeks to tim burgess and the city officials who can use it for fund raising, outreach and advocacy. we'' brain storm on how else it can be used.

earth will also get a direct link on her page - or however she would like to use it - i would like to keep computer love and Rescue up for a limited time outside of my friends page and whatever the city decides to do.

we'll see....

take care - cX

Oh My God! What a sweet

Oh My God! What a sweet relief and thrill for you! To me this represents a million and one tiny victories, many of which on the surface seem to have nothing to do with film making, (buying toilet roll, food, homework help, laundry, bill paying) BUT that have all combined to create your present reality; putting your vision out there with 100% commitment and integrity and fulfilling all of your other responsiblities in such a cool and joyful way! This is the reality for a Mum trying to manifest a new life, the bathroom still needs scrubbing! You do it all and with style too!

Big props to you and your amazing daughter, i have such a strong feeling that this process of getting your career going is having such a positive effect on Mars. She just comes through your posts as being such a cool, intelligent little stoic, taking it all in in a very understated , mature way. I can't help but feel that she has got GREAT things in her future and that this process is opening up her life just as much as its opening up yours.

You both deserve a great Summer. Well done Christy, you did it girl and its just the beginning.

i am the toliet roll queen! seriously!

Love love you medcycles!

you should see how much i've used in my lifetime - i mean it! i used to get made fun for it, and now i just take it in stride! i am a nut!

right now, i'm listening to: "if you leave" - by omd....

manifesting a new life - this is what i always strive for. more. and lot's of it. you see me for who i am - this is a brilliant day in seattle! it was close to a 100 yesterday, today feels a bit cooler.

i'm wrapping up yoga and heading out to get my nails done and then i'm off to work a double - lot's of fun stuff to do today!
i'm proud to be wrapping up my 3rd campaign for lifelong aids alliance!

you are so right about the million small victories - why do i forget about these miracles/victories? why do i side step it for the bigger bite? i am a fool to overlook this! thank you for reminding me.

the fact that i could do any of this is nothing short of a miracle, period. i have no idea how all of this came about! my big mouth! single parenthood and filmmaking is an odd mix, i realize this. but what else can i offer the world? i can't think of anything better to do.

little mars, so sweet - i appreciate the compliment - she is great - solid, and smart. i love her dearly, she is pure beauty and light. i want to see her expand and jump into what her heart desires. i think she is the best part of me, and beyond.

thank you for always saying the right thing at the right time!

you have no idea what your friendship and support means to me

Party i mean it party girl - i miss you like crazy and i enjoy channeling love and light to you and your family - how is work, the bookstore? your summer?

thank you for your sweetness and kind words, i am silly sometimes huh? to think that i was going to pass up on this because it wasn't "perfect yet", my girl ticia always makes fun of me for this and she's right!

"the hurt locker" was perfect in my eyes and for most folks was almost "perfect". i don't like that word, but what else can i call it?

i'm just glad that i got off my butt and did it.

love you - cX

yay!

So exciting! You did it! Forgive me if I'm a little proud of you, even if I'm not your mom, I've loved reading about all the challenges and work you've put into these films. Enjoy the feeling of accomplishment- I know you are!!!

thanks turtle dove!

Party hey party girl! great to hear from you!

yes - i'm excited, i'm texting my camera man on Computer Love, we're working out a time to get together to fix a shot and tweak the music/credits, sometime next week will work out for both of us.

i think you'll like both of these films, i am proud of both, they are like polar opposites - Computer Love - online dating Rom/Com - vs. Rescue - A doc/promotional film supporting The Prostituted Children's Rescue Fund. i love both of these films!

that might sound corny to say out loud, but i truly do.

they have their own message/life to them.

thanks for your kindness!
