Bad days in baby town
I made the mistake of trying to hit the milk bottle again. My midwife said sometimes a baby's digestive system will mature around 4 months and the mama can start having dairy again without affecting the baby negatively. So i had milk in my coffee on sunday and cheese on monday. Totally not worth it! The last two days motorboy has been a screaming, farting, spitting up mess. He insists on being held or worn AND IN CONSTANT MOVEMENT at every waking moment. He isn't taking shit for naps either.
On top of that the weather has taken a downhill turn and it's been rainy and chilly. I have a constant stuffy head headache and a sore throat. Mama is tired ladies, and can't get a goddamned thing done.
Can't call in sick from this mama job. Oh my mama said there'd be days like this...
... wish i didn't love cheese so much.

Poor mama! Rest as much as possible. Babies go through so many stages. Mine had to be moving at all times from day one. She's almost three now. She still never stops, but at least she can move without being attached to me.
It's a good thing babies are cute, right?!
just lots of hugs...
and yes, why must cheese be soooo gosh darn delicious!?!
: )

Back away from the dairy! My 2nd milk intolerant babe is 7 months and boy do I miss cheese/yogurt/ice cream. Get some mocha mix-- its great in iced coffee. Rice Dream ice cream sandwiches are yummy too. I didn't try milk with my 1st kid until he was 2. This time, I'll try it at a year b/c most kids do outgrow their milk intolerance at that age. The digestive system may not be the cause....many babes react to the proteins in dairy (whey/casein) for at least a year. Hang in there. Oreos are my personal salvation....no milk in them!
