3. how is your day going so far?
4. so i contacted the prosecuting attorney in my film, he's a very cool and down to earth guy. i ask him on the run, if he can put me in touch with someone who can help me gain access to an empty courtroom that we can shoot, totally last minute. it's ridiculously, last minute, but i want the shot. it will make his interview that much better, his story, what he has to say regarding the girls testifying against their pimps. this is about courage. he came through and set me up with a guy who booked a court room for us downtown tomorrow at 10 am.
5. i am lucky!
6. as we're wrapping this film up, it's boiled down to many things. my chest was tight last night and it was challenging for me to shake it. i've been knee deep in this project for the last 6 months. i am happy to be almost done with it. i became the director who didn't want to stop shooting, this was not like me. something about this project was different. i want the rescue fund to succeed and get the $1 million dollars they need. i can help them get it.
7. i am ready to blast off, but i am scared to death.
8. i spoke to the director of the domestic violence and sexual assault prevention program yesterday and she mentioned to me that they are considering putting my film on the city website. i am honored at even the mention.
9. 1 year down? how could this be?
10. i am murdering the aids campaign, i tied last week with the only man on the team at just over $6,000 for the week. my goal is to hit a $10,000 week before i leave the campaign. there are lot's of things that mars and i need for the summer.
11. i will get them.
12. sometimes being caught in my masculine is painful and other times, it's not so bad. i try to walk the line and stay balanced. i will continue to face my fears and dive head first into the unknown.
13. this is bliss!

hey Christy! I think the court room shot sounds great. You're really unpicking a thorny issue, from all angles and it seems like your showing a lot of struggle and discomfort, not side stepping it, but also a lot of hope. I feel like this piece is going to be a real permanent testament to this issue but also to you and where you are at this time and your struggle. These girls cut off from the sunlight of the spirit and you've kind of dove in after them and dragged the issue into the light, you should be really proud and of Mars too, I know she's hauled ass this year!
I am really praying for a great Summer for you two, you need a lot of rest and recuperation, sleep, home facials and FUN. I am so excited about the city website, I will be able to watch it!

i appreciate your support!
i need to put about another 2-4 weeks of work into it, i'm a bit disappointed, my editor wasn't able to produce the final product that i had asked him to do, i am upset, but i want to finish this film, we're very close.
i received some excellent feedback yesterday from my peers and everyone really liked it, with some small tweaks and the re-shooting of one interview that has come up missing *i literally found out the day before we showed it!*, i feel that it will be ready to present to the client and the rest of the world.
i showed it at work last night and everyone was blown away by just a rough cut, that's a good sign! people are being supportive, but the clock is ticking, i have an opportunity now to submit it to a festival and have it completed to hand over in the next few weeks, it needs to get done.

i appreciate and need your support - this year has me reeling, i opted to take a week off based on my fatigue and massage therapists suggestion! i need a break while i continue to work on Rescue, next week i'll have off and following week i'll jump start my internship.
i need to get my resume together and job hunt for a full time gig this summer - i know what i want, it's manifestation 101 time!
the man/dating thing is also picking up, about time huh?
i'm working with my new editor will tomorrow. i'm excited and scared and bunch of other stuff right now - i found out yesterday that the teammate that i booted off camera ended up shooting three of my interviews in 16:9, not 4:3, the standard format - we need to fix it, more to come later...wish me luck! i was upset and i'm still trying to process what he did, he made several attempts to ruin this film - still i continue, because we are so close and it needs to be made.
this is completely worth it in my book - this film will be ground breaking and help a lot of people who need it.
