I'm about to hit the gym right quick before I go to work. I'm doing 30 minutes on the elliptical, then a day of teaching. I'm at work 6.5 hours and at least half the time I'm on my feet walking around, helping the kids, teaching, managing the class, so I definitely count those 3 hours as exercise LOL! So what's been up with ya'll, what doing?

Sounds good mama, you need to

Sounds good mama, you need to rest! I am trying to do Jillian Michael's 30 day shred video 3x a week. I'll step it up once this semester's over and I have more in me. It's only 20 minutes and INTENSE. She is hardcore. This is a great solution to my woes of motherhood/work/schoolness in that I don't have to leave my house to get a workout in and it's quick! I can't fight that. We'll see. I already notice a difference after two weeks. Smile

Jillian Michaels

is very intense! I haven't seen her workout but I've seen her on that fat loss show, the biggest loser and she is something else. That is so great its working so fast!! Smile

I never ever would have tried

I never ever would have tried it, but I read the single mama blog, mssinglemama and she had started doing it. It was so cheap on amazon so I figured, why not. She is hardcore. She is always saying, "you can't get these abs for free". It kind of cracks me up.

run before work

now I feel all amped and hyped. Like I can handle the 6th graders no prob today! my fave age group when teaching is 7-12...it is amazing the difference in maturity and cognitive ability between a 6th grader and a 7th grader. they are nice kids though. rowdy, but nice Smile

after work I think I will go for another short run, just 2 miles. Longer runs on the weekend, wooooooot!!

Zumba!

I started a Zumba class at the Y with my teen a few weeks ago and I love it! Pretty intense cardio! I can't dance to save my life and I'm sure I look like a big goofball, but I've never LMAO while working out before (it's been a decade since I actually worked out!). It even inspired me to make my first infomercial purchase - the Zumba DVD set! We also started a swim class 2 nights a week, we've been at it almost a month and my ass is a different shape!
