V-K-I-T-T-Y. That's how.

I am currently subbing at two different schools, working at another school three nights a week teaching GED, taking classes to become a high school teacher, taking care of a baby, and taking care of an 8 year old. The 8 year old is no big deal. Actually, neither is the baby. Actually, none of those things alone are stressful. But together it's a swirling vortex of sloppy stress.

The "holy shit" moment came when I picked my son up from school and I totally yelled at him for no good reason. He's a good kid! He didn't deserve that. I apologized, lots, and explained myself. He understood, because he's so awesome!

I just wish I could figure this out. If I'm not bitching about having no job, I'm bitching about having too many. Maybe it's time to quit subbing at the elementary? I miss my friends. I miss my husband. Oh, and I really miss posting incessantly on hipmama! Smile)

*Yawn* gotta go. I hear a nap calling me...

Hey V:

I hear you loud and clear. I think the alternative spelling for exhausted is G-R-E-E-N-T-A-R-A. I do the same thing (freaking out at my oldest for no reason) and have to remind myself to take it slower. I have found that fitting in journal writing first thing in the morning has helped filter all the junk from my mind. It is that extra junk that makes me feel like an armless octopus (this practice is Julia Cameron's morning pages). Also, exercise. I have been doing the 30 day shred workout which sounds cheeseball but if I can manage to find 20 minutes a day to exercise, that gives me the energy to do everything I need to do. Keep up the good work, V-Kitty. You can totally do it just make sure that you find some pockets of time for yourself. Take care.
