Remember the white baby bassinette? This is my bassinette makeover-

and this is the sleep sack I made to put inside it- it's the cute green one. The one next to it is the ugly thing i made it out of by cutting it up and covering it with new fabric (to take advantage of the free batting and zipper).

Here's the diaper stacker and changing pad cover I made with the same colour scheme.

And the traveling diaper systems: 2 pul wetbags- one with a drawstring, and one with a zipper and pockets on both sides (a big pocket for clean diapers, and 2 small ones for cloth wipes and whatnots, and 2 travel changing pads with hidden vinyl.

It's 3 weekends worth of work, and everything is wonky and off in its way. My home-ec teacher would be nothing but critical. But i'm proud of myself for mustering up the energy to do it considering how shipoopy i feel and how much work is killing me. This week is the last week that I have to get my chucky cheese on with the little kids. Then my substitutes are on the case and I'm on leave until next fall!

you always pick the best colors!
that teal is one of my all time faves!
good stuff, mama! love what you did with the bassinnete, awesome. i always love seeing your stuff...it inspires me to get my ass in gear and start working on my own projects instead of procrastinating!
you must be so ready to stop working; teaching while bursting at the seams with a burgeoning baby must be sooo frigging exhasuting. enjoy these next few weeks and try to get as much rest as you can. i know it's easier said than done, but squeeze in some R&R whenever you can! i'm so excited and giddy for you that this time next month motorboy will have made his way into the world...hugs and kisses and lots of love to you and motordaddy in this crazy exciting time.
Everything looks lovely. SSadly, I can't even manage to sew a button my shirt. I should work on that.

Once I tried to sew a button and it was like ridiculously hideous. I gave up on sewing completely. And so I am always so amazingly impressed with all the amazing stuff motormouth makes.
It all looks great, mm! I love the green and blue colors. motormouth bouy is a lucky kiddo!
Hang in there for these last few weeks, glad school is over soon. Big love to you both (and motormouth man too) ~

gorgeous! yer such a sewin' goddess. mad vibes at ya and yer motorbaby. (we all know the real date)
You are so freaking amazing. Truly.
gorgeous work! I wish I could sew!
The items are gorgeous. Even more amazing is the patience you must have to make so many small, detail-rich items. Your sleep sack will have a very lucky occupant.
