This book is quite interesting to me....provides much food for thought.
I have only read the beginning of this, online at the link above- but felt that the chapter "What trauma does to people" was interesting (and sad, granted). I can relate to the "trauma splitting" bit....Maybe I'll buy the damn thing, dammit. Back to the world of dreams.....
Hope you're all have a wonderful Monday mamas...... it's been a pretty good one for me so far... actually going to yoga class tonight for the second time- the first class I've been to in years was this past Fri.....I felt amazing afterward, sore, but much stronger already.....I'm doing it every Mon. Wed. and Fri. I think it's going to be a really grounding thing for me.

I clicked on the link and devoured the allowed excerpts.
This book looks like it covers just the subject matter I've been seeking to explore. My family--my one living sister and my mother, to be exact, have been betraying me for years. I recently found out, and besides the hurt, sorrow and anger that comes with being betrayed, I am absolutely baffled as to what to do about the behavior, how to avoid further instances, and how to heal myself.
Our local library has a copy; I've just placed an online hold and will pick it up this afternoon. I can't' wait to read the rest.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
