so we have exactly one month before our big move.
and we are freaking out. its tense and stressful and neither DH or I have any patience for one another's bull crap. Perspective? basically none. Scared to death? Basically all. We are just trying to remember how pretty it will be.

plus I'm in the middle of ANOTHER tww (will this ever end?)

Remind me ladies, that moving overseas is a great and fun adventure and that I WILL be able to learn German!! and one day I wont be spending half of each month waiting to see if I'm knocked up.

moving

a fresh start may be all you need to help the process along. I'd love a change of environment right about now. I don't know about German, but I can't imagine it's that hard to learn. I mean, enough to get about. Learning in another country is the best place to learn. Hang in there.

moving overseas is one of the

moving overseas is one of the most frustrating experiences but oh so rewarding. before you know it you'll be settled in your new home and all those feelings of tension will disappear. good luck in your preparations. try to eat all the foods you love and visit all those special places that you might not see for a long time. enjoy your last weeks and remember how lucky you are! take care.

yay for moving overseas

It's going to be great. Even if you don't end up loving the new place that you're living you'll learn so much about another culture- and yourself in the process. There's nothing like being far away from everything that made you who you are to help you redefine who you want to be (in my opinion).
You'll be able to learn german, but you'll be fine in the transition time also. Most northern europeans speak and understand english really well. So that should make lanuage stuff easier in some ways.
