Description
My kid, who hates all of the cabbage-based vegetables, loved this. It's adapted from various recipes i've seen online
Ingredients
| 2 | c | brussels sprouts |
| 2 | T | olive oil |
| 1⁄4 | c | balsamic vinegar |
| 1 | salt |
Instructions
All units of measurement are estimated.
The brussels sprouts came in a cup-carton thing. I used one.
Preheat oven to 400
Cut Brussels sprouts in half.
Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over high heat.
Put the Brussels sprouts in skillet, cut side down and cook on high till it starts to brown.
Add balsamic vinegar until they are one quarter to one half submerged.
Cook for a bit.
Put skillet in oven, covered with foil, for 15 minutes.
Remove from oven, stir gently, and cook on the burner again for a little while, till the sauce starts to thicken.
Sprinkle with salt. Generously.
