Bigger better, shinier fridge--with ice maker.
five burner gas stove--be hooked up tomorrow
silent, dishwasher
front loading washer and drier.
stonger garborator

i am mind-boglinglingly happy,shallow I know, but I wanted to share.

what i like the most about your post

is your use of whack as a quantifier. I noticed it in your garden comment as well. I intend to cop this phrase from now on if you don't mind.
I'd love a whack of new appliances, and if you bill it from the ecological standpoint you can make it come off as a lot less superficial. I'm sure your new appliances are much more efficient, and your old appliances will be duly recycled now won't they. Way to go green Wink !

energy star all the way

less water than I can use in the sink, less energy to heat the water, all appliances recycled--is there any other way?. I'd compost, but there is too much wildlife around here to attract. But our city is beginning a curbside green pick-up for kitchen waste. Green is the only colour. The washer uses less water, less energy and is kinder to our clothes so they last longer too.

A whack of energy and water savings to be had by all.

Thanks for seeing below my surface rant and love of things shiny and bright.
