Lyme Hell Update- Holy crap Progress!!!Hey all, quick update. I am 95% better and slowly weaning off of my antibiotics. My son has just started his treatment and is progressing nicely. I am extremely grateful to be getting my brain, body and life back. It's been 6 months of craziness, but in the end I learned a lot and continue to grow from the experience. Thanks for all your support along the way!

Oh, that's so good to hear. I hope both your recoveries will go on and soon. Every time I find a tick in my garden i think of you, sending vibes... I wonder if there is any animal that eats ticks... Don't like that beasts... Make me afraid...

95% fantastic!!! love to hear
95% fantastic!!! love to hear stories like this. I was tested for lyme last year, but it wasn't, just some other rare neuro disease... not yet 95%, but slowly working on it... think jet-lagged much of the time, and now less than half of the time and still numb and tingling with occassional electric shock and pain...
Good luck to you and you son in your collective recovery

That's awesome
I have been thinking about you b/c my SIL was just diagnosed with Lyme disease too. It's been in her system for at least a year, and she thought she was slowly going crazy...forgetting things, aches and pains, vision problems, numbness and tingling in her hands and feet and severe depression. They're starting her on IV antibiotics this week and we are all hoping for the best. I'm so glad to hear that your symptoms are getting better. Sounds like this has been a really long, hard road.
