Adding: the comment about wondering about where to get bathroom supplies, and that the spammer was a godsend was so funny that I didn't delete the comment (ooh, I should go find it & delete the link though) before deleting the spammer. I just couldn't bear to remove that awesome comment of yours!
It's been so insanely bad the last few weeks, I think this week has been the worst. Is there some secret spammer manual with us listed as one of the top sites to hit?!
I dunno. We haven't had more bad sign ups, they're just using the sign ups faster, I guess. I'm still checking new registrations for obvious spam intent every evening (adafafasd@gmail -- you're nailed). Ah well. If I accidentally delete a spammer without removing the comment (it'll show up as by the person, but you can't click on their name anymore), someone ping me, eh?
