monkeygirl goes goth
she keeps scratching a scab off her face and seems absolutley fascinated and undisturbed by the blood. she did it again today in the car and even after i cleaned her up with some wipes she still had some caked blood all around her fingernails...we stopped by a local farm to feed the animals a few minutes later and she stuck her hand in a goat's face and said with a sinister little grin "you wanna eat my blood??" i don't know whether to laugh or worry.

would be the right way to go

My kids have a morbid sense of their blood too and the little one fed crackers to the giant gargoyle I bought for Halloween, she still loves to play with it when she sees it. My oldest wants to "try the scary movie" when she asks for the Winnie the Pooh Halloween movie. She gets scared but she loves it. Not as blatant as your girl but mine are only one and Three.
I was a goth industrial DJ for 5 years (club and Radio)...and their dad was in a Black metal band for 15 years. We are pretty freaking straight looking now. My husband in particular but I too wonder what I'm in for. I look at kids that looked like us when we were younger and I think their kinda cute but I don't know what I'd do if my girls were like I was. I'm kinda split in fact because some of that craziness I wish my mom had encouraged more, I think I'd be a a lot further ahead if she would have.
