I've always been told 103 or 104 is too high. If it gets to 104, please go to the ER, okay? Vibes to you, sucks to be sick and be a mom at the same time!

if your fever gets any higher than it is now (with ibuprofen or tylonel) i'd go to the er. hopefully it won't get to that point thought....many vibes to you and your sick little babe. <3
You aren't a whiner! You are a mom to 4 & your baby is sick! Remember FLUIDS! Don't get dehydrated...you are nursing. Take advil or tylenol to keep it down. If it won't stay down, go to dr asap, ok?
Vibes!
We got the flu. Let me rephrase that. I had the shitiest week of my life when we got the flu last month.
I won't bore you with the details, but it was awful. There was not enough energy to nuture Mom, Dad and Baby. By the end of it, DS was so bored his behavior was awful.
His fever spiked to 102.7. He's only two, and was screaming with the thermometer sticking out of his butt, as I watched terrified as the temp hovered near 103. I made him take his pants off and eat a popsicle. It was almost midnight.
I can sooo relate to needing to just rest and try not to be so in your body.
We complain about a lot of things in life, but when you feel your body going haywire....it's the worst.
Big vibes, mama!!! Rest, fluids, like all the other mama's said, go to hospital if it gets too much higher.
Once the doc told my mom to put my sis, who was four, in a cold bathtub with ice-cubes. Her fever was 104.
So be careful. And Ibuprofen was the only thing that brought my fever down. So much of it that I was worried about liver damage. But I think it's okay if it's not chronic use.
Good luck mama. Soon, you will be well. I hope you can get the rest you need.
Don't be too afraid to be yourself. The alternative is always worse.
i read on wikipedia though that 102 is not considered high. that it's considered moderate.
this chart is rectal temp, which is a degree higher, more or less.

good luck getting your rest.

I am a big whiner! Like men are when they are sick.
