Benjamin Buttons? Anyone want to discuss.
I was really moved by this film. Living life backwards.

I thought it was quite good, DH didn't really care for it too much. Sorry, I don't have anything more insightful to say, I'm kinda bad at critiqueing things. But I enjoyed it very much.
Have you seen Gran Torino? I thought that was amazing, really, really moving.
Oh God, the ending! I don't want to say too much, don't want to spoil it for anyone who plans on seeing it. But yes, one of my favorite parts of the movie (that might sound weird, but I just thought it was so beautiful). And the dance scene, where Daisy dances for Benjamin, another of my favorite moments.
Gran Torino was so much more humorous than I imagined it would be. Clint somehow ends up being a total badass, even just playing an old man and not some weathered cowboy or whatever. That man is the shit, I don't think I ever really appreciated his talent before this movie. Anyways, hope you enjoy it as well.
Button.
I thought it was great! Moving. I cried at two parts of the film. The end of course, it just was beautiful and broke my heart.
And when the daughter is reading her postcards.
I plan on seeing it again. I'm sure I would enjoy it more than last time. We had some very annoying folks sitting behind us making frequent, "that would never happen" comments - HELLO PEOPLE it's a MOVIE - suspension of disbelief and all! Just effing enjoy it!!!
I just scanned the book (haven't seen the film yet)
and it seemed kind of sad at the end where he's a little 'newbie'... just a little sweetheart, and then he just fades away.

At some point it felt liked it dragged a little.....but at the same time I had to remind myself to enjoy the pace. I had a hard time watching the end. My brain was working over time thinking of the logistics, yet......how similar an infant is to an older invalid.
Very touching film. The FX were amazing. To think it was Brad's face at all ages.
Have not seen Gran Tourino, but will make an effort before the awards. I'm on a film watching mission. I have all the Academy screenings from my boss so I can watch them at home because if I had to see in a theater.......it would never happen.
That said, I bet Benjamin was awesome on the big screen.
