Preschool guilt.
My girl is going to preschool 2 days a week, for less than a month now. She was all excited at first, being a big girl ,but now she doesn't want to go. I feel great about the place, the teachers, set up, schedule, and other kids--it's pretty great. I think she's regressing a little and would just rather stay home and pee in her diaper and watch a movie and snuggle, you know. I just gotta stick this out, right? We're thinking of upping her time there, and now I'm worried.

in the beginning. All kids are different. They always go back and forth. Even now in Kindergarten there are days she wants to snuggle. I say stick it out. Is it just the morning? M started play school at 3 and her hours were 9-1

my daughter did the same thing. she was super-psyched and then about a week later would cry hysterically every time we were about to go. i was thinking of pulling her out and had a chat with her teacher who was shocked. she said my daughter was only ever happy as can be and excited to be there. so i kept her at it and she's now in her 2nd year. don't worry!
