Feeling the pressure.
I am pretty stressed, but trying to stay positive. For various reasons, I didn't register for classes in time, and now they are ALL full.
Tomorrow I am going to head over to the English Dept, with class permission forms in hand, and see if I can't corner some profs and BEG them to let me in their already full waitlisted classes.
If that doesn't work I have set up a schedule where I will drop in on classes with class permission forms in hand and throw myself upon their mercy.
Although, I reserve it for occasions like these, I will throw down the kid card immediately. I know that not all profs care about that kind of stuff, but some do. I don't expect any special treatment, I just wanna get these classes.
I am not a big kid card player, but I have heard both sides of the argument. I'm a moderate I guess. If I am backed into a corner, like now, then I will play it, but it's not my first line of action.

I feel your pain! I just spent two hours online looking desperately for class openings! I have to start these pre req classes and I was late looking. I have to wait until midnight tomorrow to see if people dropped ... ugh! Wishing you big luck, hope they take you.
My university is hemming and hawwing about my admissions...apparently I am the only person in the history of the college EVER to get kicked out for crappy grades, earn a degree somewhere else, then come back for a post-bacc program. They need to let me know something, classes start on the 20th and I need to not only register but get my work schedule aligned.
I hope you get some classes!
