A grats & ho o'ramaFrom the mama who never means to be such a lurker but somehow still is. 1. Overnight sleeping has been decidedly improved. THANK MAUDE. 2. Mornings have been me getting up 40 minutes before anyone else, enjoying coffee and computer time in quiet. Ahhhh.... 3. Finally broke down and joined facebook, have had lots of pleasant little interactions with people I haven't seen in so many years and have wondered about. 4. I felt a funk coming on and was dreading the winter but I somehow snapped out of it. I think the better sleep helps, the approaching holiday helps (and everyday it seems the kids and I have some kind of decorating/gift making/craft project activity to keep us busy), the conscious effort to lower my cleanliness standards helps...etc. 5. My husband works a lot but you know what...in this economy I am feeling more and more grateful for his good and steady job. Thank you, dh and universe. 6. We made our annual gingerbread house on Thanksgiving Day that we will eat with friends at our holiday party this weekend: 7. Um, hi...the cutest double baby picture EVER? 8. This is the port-a-crib a friend gave me for the baby...he's MOBILE now and sometimes I need to put him in a place and know that he's safe. Yeah, guess who likes it... 9. Been feeling crafty and creative and have whipped up a bunch of these little pouches to clip onto dog's leash that hold plastic baggies for poop-scooping....for all of our friends with dogs... 10. And I'm keeping one for us since dh has broken down and my kids will have the best xmas morning ever...

Ah! you guys are the cutest
The pack and play photo slays me! I love seeing baby Z kicking it OUTSIDE. A puppy for Christmas! Yay - you will have so much fun with that!
Our puppy will be a year old this christmas. He has been a handful and sometimes like a second child, but the relationship the kids have with him is priceless, and totally makes up for all the chewed up stuff. Here's a tip - any toys you aren't crazy about just leave out overnight with pup.

OMG! that puppy is sooo cute, the kids are going to be over the moon excited. I too recently joined facebook, it's tons of fun. The baby is getting so big. Of course the big kids prefer the crib haha. Thanks fo the morning pics, its always nice to see your little..err, big family.
