Hey all...
I wrote back in more detailed response to your responses..but
just wanted to clarify my kid is NOT on any kind of computer- he
was looking at a storybook I bought. I actually think he was being
appropriate, within a realm I'm not used to yet. Also don't think his dad
is an a-hole as a dad, we are on similar pages. THough he really let me down
deeply as a husband. THANKS

Sorry if I offended you. I

Sorry if I offended you. I didn't mean to. Sometimes I just say what is on my mind without really thinking that I am going to upset the reader with my opinion. Hope that isn't the case. I can see that you and you ex have things well worked out in regards to your son and I think that is fantastic.

Everyone has a different opinion when it comes to computers and TV's in a kid's room. Or even electronic toys in the house. I say, what ever works, works. My kids have days were they watch TV all day, so be it.

I'm sure your son was being totally appropriate. I didn't mean to suggest otherwise. I think there was some miscommunication and misunderstandings going on in your last post. But I thought you cleared that up with the other post.

So Guilty of Projecting

Hi. Sorry that I jumped to the conclusion of your ex being a jerk. From my read of your post it sounded like you were concerned about his influence, but probably it is really just that I am concerned about my ex's influence on my kid.

It's inspiring to hear about people who are successfully co-parenting after a break up. I need some hope on that one right now.

Best wishes!
