Boo at the Zoo (ho)
Took the kids trick and treating at the zoo. It's always hit or miss. One year they gave out tons of candy, then another year, coupons for home appraisals. This year it sucked.

Phoenix didn't come this year, he feels like he is too old. The best part of the whole night was when DP got stuck in one of those play structures with tubes and ropes and levels and stuff following G into the play area. Anna and Oe were no help. It was mesh enclosed so I could see them, but couldn't help. Lil G really wanted to get up to that slide, but he just wasn't big enough.

Halloween is the best. Sorry the zoo was kind of lame this year (coupons? for home appraisals? seriously? they know their audience is KIDS, right?!).

I didn't even notice that his cast matched like that! I had to rip it at the seems to fit his cast in it.
But, yeah, the whole thing was kinda weird, but fun.
we've never been to our boo at the zoo - man, if we go, i hope we get a coupon for a home appraisal, that's exactly what an 8 yr old and a 2 yr old need!

I didn't even realize there was this whole boo at the zoos across America. I wish there were more animals out and about too.
