I think I can see some sun poking through the clouds...grats for today
1. Playdates. Everyone is occupied...enough said.
2. My boss. I'm on a leave of absence from work until we figure out what is going with Lily and she gave me a scholarship for Ava to go to school twice a week. There are still good people on this planet.
3. Ikea. Our new kitchen cabinets arrived today and we are starting our remodel next week. We did it on the cheap and as eco-friendly as we possibly could. I will finally have some storage in my kitchen!
4. Dh. The guy is so good and he's having such a hard time at work but trying to keep his cool. He really does adore me and I take it for granted WAY too often. Must get better at this.
5. Netflix. I'm cancelling our cable today because it is such a waste of money that could be used elsewhere. Realized this today as I was browsing for new things to watch without cable. More money in my pocket is always a good thing...or should I say to the oil company to heat my house...ugh.
6. Hip Mama. I really missed being here and I love having a little bit more time each day to check in with all of you fabulous ladies. You make me a better person, mamas. Big hugs.

I love how the schooling worked itself out! That is so great that they worked Ava into a couple days a week. AWSOME!
You are going to have to post some before/after pics of your kitchen. I would love to see them!
We cancelled our cable at the beginning of the summer. I thought i'd really miss it but suprisingly, i don't. I'd been putting it off for so long, i'm glad we did it.

Thanks, K. I will post the pics for sure. The cable company would not let me turn it off because I'm not on the account. On dh's honey do list for Monday! We finished the fairy chapter book today and as we closed the book Ava sighed and said, "oh, mummy, I wish V lived closer." I'm in agreement with her!

I'm so glad to read that things with the school worked out. That is wonderful that Ava will still get some time with her friends. How is Lily doing? So glad you have a DH who adores you & that you appreciate him too. That's wonderful. And I can't wait to see pics of your new kitchen!
