We have chickens! In our living room (in a brooder, not just on the carpet). 26, though we'll only keep 15 (we're finding homes for the others). They are going to be laying hens, not supper.

They're so adorable! Wish my husband would let us have chickens, but he grew up on a farm & he's not a fan of chickens...
Tried again. Fail. "Chickens means chicken shit." He didn't buy my argument that it's fabulous fertilizer for the garden. < sigh >
