Tuesday
I miss you ladies. I don't know what it is; But what it feels like is the simple culmination of the demands of my life finally getting the better of me. Between school, my internship, DS' preschool, diabetes, family, friends, etc..I am just feeling like I am stretched pretty thin. Everything is going well; I just find myself feeling more tired at the prospect of things and saying "no" to different endeavours and activities. Unfortunately it seems like hipMama has been one of those things that I've been letting slide to reserve some energy. Anyway, I just wanted to shout out to everyone that I check in & send lots of love even when I don't manage a response or a cohesive thought.
Court was good today - we had a light docket and so I was able to spend some time talking to the judge. Definitely having access to a judge is the perk of the "job". I'm kind of in a search right now for women in the "business" who have families and with whom I can have conversations about the balance of children and their careers. Right now that is my biggest concern. I want more children and I don't know what is the best approach for having more children and not entirely sacrificing my work these past few years. Anyway, I feel like every few weeks I come with a rambling post...I just watned to say I'm here and sending love.

Thanks for the update. It's a worthy quest to find that balance. I got your cd, too, but haven't had the time to listen yet.
With all that going on, it's no wonder you feel stretched thin. I guess we all tend to ebb and flow, and hopefully time will start coming back into your life.
I got the cd, and just started my fall break, so I will have time to listen as I clean. You should be getting mine any day now.

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is a field. I will meet you there

you're a busy lady, and we love you, all the time!
*i think you're doing excellent work in the court room*.
i think you're doing a great job balancing work, real life, and family - what more can you do sista? life has it's challenges, we learn our lessons and work through it.
be proud of yourself, send yourself love and don't make yourself wrong for feeling the way that you do.
consider this:
how far you've come, you're on your life path - this is all that counts, period.
i support you having another baby when the time is right.
consider this too:
you're a wild woman and live your dreams.
you expand our thinking and keep growing, every day.
you're happy and you have lot's of family and friends who care about you.
you're always at the right place, right time.
keep going, don't stop.
love - your friend, christy X!
