I had a scare recently where I thought my computer might be wiped out with all my music and i would have to beg for tunes.

although, I felt like last time I didn't get one from everyone...should we do everyone sends a copy to everyone again? I liked receiving all of those cds in the mail, it was fun.
It was also helpful when people specified if the music was kid friendly or not.

I think that there was one participant who didn't manage to get her cds out. Also, I remember her posting just a few weeks ago saying that she had the cds & was just working on getting the cash together to mail them out...so it may come just yet!

I think just one, and I wasn't that upset about it. If someone can't afford to send them, then I would rather they feed their family first, kwim?

just letting you know that there had been a fairly recent update. I think it worked pretty well sending them out to everyone though; like you said it was fun to get a bunch of surprises in the mail!

How many songs constitute a CD?
what format do you guys use? mp3?

are we talking mixed CD? How many tracks? I'm such a dork.
I think that most of the cds I've received had around 20 tracks - whatever you feel like & whatever fits on the cd.

but it was pretty simple. We set a date for people to sign up & PM me their mailing address. Then once we had a final number we each made a mixed cd for the total number of participants and mailed them out. (I PMed everyone involved the list of addresses.) It was fun & great to get a mix of new music & old favorites!
