DS' First Day of School/Orientation

It was just an hour & parents were there for the orientation to the classroom. The teacher seems great and I can't wait til DS interacts more with the students. Wednesday is the actual first day; I can't wait, I think he'll do really well & I'm feeling pretty comfortable concerning his diabetes & the testing. Though I was a little nostalgic about walking up the street when I can so clearly remember walking with him as a wee babe in a bjorn or stroller. I can remeber vividly the day we walked to vote in the 04 election, what a beautiful day it was, the yellow leaves and my feeling of hope & confidence that we would get W out...oh well...time sure does fly though...

I'm so glad you are feeling good about him starting. He WILL do awesome and i'm sure they will do great with him concerning the testing part of his diabetes.
