when she moved to cease the roll call and declare obama the nominee by acclimation - holy moly. what a HUGE HUGE HUGE moment in history. i was bawling my head off in my car, stuck in traffic. many others in cars around me were doing the same. hello sea change!

Me, too. I was really glad

Me, too. I was really glad she said what she said and I wish we had seen that side of her when she was running. She was so impassioned it made me hope that she tries again in a few years. Also, I love the fact that she gave that speech on the day women were given the right to vote...how could I not cry?! I truly hope we're making strides in the right direction as a country...but only time will tell.
You must live, not simply exist.

i have always seen that side of her.

although i voted in my primary for obama because he has a stroger voting record on issues that concern my career, it was the ONLY thing that pushed me to that decision, i was ambivalent till the end. i fell in love with hillary clinton in 1992 when she made her (in)famous "baking cookies" comment. love her still.

Me too!

I thought she did great. I think that was probably a very difficult thing to do and I'm proud of her. Also, I loved the line that he knows the government is by the people not for the privileged few.

when she talked about how when her mom was born, women weren't allowed to vote, and that her own daughter got to vote for her for president. WOW!
