watching the white guys (& occassional white woman or black man) speak
I'm watching the DNC convention on PBS right now.
Just waiting to hear from the black woman. I think I like Michelle Obama better than Barack.

I am so glad she is there, though. I am so happy that my girl can look up to her, even if they don't win - maude, god and buddha help us. thanks, Michelle.

I am such a wonk. I think she was very accessible last night and did a great job. I wish she was a little more firey and passionate, like she can be when she speaks at fundraisers. But, I know what her speech was supposed to do, and it did just that. And the kids were super cute.
Ted Kennedy did great. Poor thing.
