Mixed bag of grats, some good, some bad...

Start with positive, so the negative do not seem so bad:
1. Had a great weekend. Had some time to myself, chopped off all my hair and love my new do. The girls spent some time with my mum, she did some laundry for me: win win situation.
2. Family. They drive me nuts but had them over for a fire in the yard Saturday night and had a great time.
3. Nature. We took the girls on a hike yesterday and they did such a great job and were really amazed at all the cool mushrooms and flowers we saw along the way. I'm so happy they will have this appreciation, too.
4. Knitting. Started a scarf for Lily last night. Need to remember how therapeutic it is for me.
5. New thrift store nearby. It rocks! I bought the girls a ton of great stuff like Hanna An&erson dresses for $20 for the entire shopping bag! Now the challenge will be staying out of it! Wink

The bad:
1. Cars. Dh was on his way home, stopped at the liquor store to get some beer for dinner and the Subaru would not start. Probably the starter but we just put a new clutch and belt in to the tune of $1500 so he's taking the train until we can afford to fix it.
2. Money. I hate constantly stressing about it.
3. Asthma. It sucks, I hate that I have to tell my kid to stop jumping, playing, etc. I hate it.

So, the good does outweigh the bad, eh?! Trying to not let the little things blur the positive things in my life. And to think, I wanted to be an adult! Thanks mamas, have a great week!
