I got a puppy! (ho)
Finally!
I have been wanting a dog forever, but I kept waiting for the right time. At first I wanted a particular kind of dog, but then I realized that I would be happier with a rescue. Her name is PineCone and she is some kind of Beaglesque pup with lots of sleeping and cute little howley barks.

On the name:
I picked the oldest up from school and suggested it and he said
"NO! That's so embarrassing."
and then later I picked the youngest up from his dad, and he immediately said the same thing, almost verbatim.
Then they both started calling her Pinecone....go figure!

I just love her to death, and so do the kids. Well, between my DP and I we have 4 kiddos, and one has yet to see her...will later today.
