Quick Sunday 10...
1) Sunday Soundtrack: Devotchka & Calexico
2) It rained, it was a deluge, therefore cool enough to bake.
3) Baked a yellow cake with cherry frosting and a blueberry muffin ring.
4) Popped some baby back ribs in Yukon gold fires in while the oven was still hot.
5) Ooh, and made iced blueberry white tea this morning.
6) Clean kitchen and living room.
7) Made it out to a playgroup in the park yesterday with some other moms of autistic kids. Maggie like being the sage older kid instead of the socially awkward one for a change. Still didn't talk much, though.
Slept decently for a change.
9) First full Sunday off in weeks!
10) Last week of summer day camp, so there is an end in sight to abject poverty...

the summer camp line made me think about how unfair it is to gouge parents for the "extra" care. it's not even an extra!

consider this: skye went to camp for a few years, now he's almost 18.
your girls are growing up fast, and soon camp will be left in the dust.
i still tango with mars, but in a few years, she won't have to go either.
life is sweet and it moves quickly with our kids.
