my 10! it's been a while, but I need it today.
Here are the 10 good things about the moment:
1. my hair. I'm digging it right now - I never wear it down but it's down and it feels good!
2. quiet toddler. It probably means poop in the diaper, but at least I have a moment to myself and my coffee and my laptop. Poop can always wait.
3. friends. I was nervous that a new friend that I made 6 or 7 months ago wasn't interested in hanging out. I hadn't heard from her in so long but then I saw her yesterday and she seemed genuinely happy to see me. I guess I was nervous cause she is a famous actress and I thought she might think that we are too different (I am broke a lot which is very different than her life - her 2nd home is down the street) but it seems not. We are hanging out tomorrow and out so our babies can play together. Yay!
4. vacation. We are doing it even if it puts us further into debt. Fuck it! We need some stress free fun, no matter how temporary.
5. nice weather. I love being able to go in and out whenever without even adding layers. This only happens for about 3 months a year here, so I'm trying to enjoy it as much as I can.
6. maryjane. She's so nice after a long day of work.
7. new enameled cups, bowls and plates. For camping or toddlers to eat of or summertime picnics.
8. clean partners. He's showering now and much more likely to get laid when he's clean. Mmmm.
9. babies who like to clean. It helps, even if just a little.
10. my dog. He eats all of the leftovers so we don't have to waste. He also protects us from the bears and coyotes in our backyard. He's a good dog even if I don't give him enough attention.

i'm calling you a vegetable or is it a fruit? i have no idea, i'm secretly not hip enough/savvy to know the difference! BUT, i know that you know the difference! one of us knows it, that's all that counts!
1. you have beautiful hair, period. up or down, i can tell it's thick and lovely!
2. poop! fuck poop! enjoy the coffee and laptop!
(quiet is so nice, i think that quiet is the new loud! does that make sense? i'm just discovering this through all of my reading and channeling, i dig quiet!).
3. new friends - she sounds really nice, down to earth, laid back and she's also open to meeting new people! this is great!
sometimes it's a matter of timing, where a person is at, etc. i've felt the same way in the past, we all do on some level when we meet a new person. i think you guys are a good match and will have a fun time! that's all that matters.
4. DO IT! i will continue to support this until i'm on my scorpio death bed in a million years! this is how serious i am about your family vacation. you will go and have a great time!
5. oh man, i agree. living in seattle, i'v learned to be a layered person, semi-layered! but i prefer to be jacketless, all the time!
6. she's an old friend of mine too! we go way back! in my industry days i was the wake n' bake variety! word up for the lady in the black patten leather shoes and cute bob haircut!
7. these sound cool, did you get them at your work?
8. YEAH! remember when we talked about this a few months back! he's upped his game, this is good news! (you made my day with this one!).
9. this one is sweet!
10. i want a dog like yours! he's so masculine and cool, protecting you guys from bears and coyotes?!! dang! he's a good boy! he deserves a new lady dog and corn cob pipe!

i hear you about the sex drive, it happens.
i'm still smiling and rooting for him to take more showers! he's a big guy isn't he? skye is a giant, i've warned him about giants who don't shower!
i think it's good for him to understand that cleaning up=a good time! they all need to know this.
in my hey day, i've had to turn down sex a few times when it was too tangy! balls are one thing, the ass stuck together is another!

this shit has gone global! and sites like hipmama are raising the bar!
most men are clean, dare i say: very clean! i've done my part, skye in his heyday would bathe sometimes 2x a day!
now that his hormones are a little more even keel (sometimes!) he can get by on one shower a day!
in the past i didn't mind reminding my partner to shower, freshen up etc. now, i look forward to a man who can handle his game and come correct!
i used to throw a new/fresh pair of socks at my ex, everytime he needed it! i thought i was taking one for the team! NOT!! but it did save our whole family from having to invest in nose plugs!
some of my closest friends are so cool! they refuse to do this, they would rather have their man go around tore up than remind them!
i respect that! i wish i was that way! that is the true definition of tough love!
men are cool - they can stink and get away with it!
