Girl's Names

Submitted by Enelesn on Fri, 06/20/2008 - 7:55pm.

The ongoing baby naming debate lives on. We've cut out the rest of the family (thank God!), but my husband and I aren't finding that special name (or two names)that we BOTH LOVE.
Plenty we like, some one of us like more than the other of us...
Here are some on our list:
Story
Ava
Lilliane
Sophie
Mina
Kaiah
Zoe
Anyone have name suggestions they don't mind sharing?

oddly I know a little girl named story...or maybe it shouldn't be odd, it's cool
there are a ton of ava and eva out there right now (which is fine as long as you're cool with it) and also zoe/zoey/zooie/zoi, I know a bunch of kaiah's too, but spelled different ways.

Great minds think alike, mama, both of my girls' names are on the list! Ava and Lillian (she goes by Lily). One piece of advice--Ava is ridiculously common. Doesn't really bother me and she loves it, but everywhere we go, there seems to be another Ava. I looked at your list again and both my girls were almost Zoe and Sophie, too. Funny. I love the name Lila, too. Good luck, mama, and I'm glad you and your dh are making the decision for yourselves!

The second name was Iris. I still really like it a lot. Aurora just suited her more:)

I think that name is too cute, but BD hated it while I was pregnant. Monkeygirl ended up being named 'Noa' which is beautiful and I love. Maybe someday she'll have a lil sister named Roxy! (or maybe Moxie, 'cause I think that's cute too.)

and DH didn't like it.

We eventually settled on Lily but then one of my cousins changed her name to Lily so if we ever have a girl I think it's out. I love Ella, and Elly
