DS is about to turn 1 in 2 weeks, woohoo! I'm not worried about him using a sippy cup exclusively just yet or anything, I know it might be a while, but how old were your kid's when they started to do this? He has a few, but as of yet, he has no clue what to do with them. He'll put them in his mouth and mainly just chew on the spout, he won't suck on it. I don't think he really gets the concept of there being a drink in there. I've only put some water and watered down apple juice in them so far. I only give them to him every now and then, just to get used to them and play with. I got one that has a soft spout, thinking it would be closer to a bottle and he would get the point that he's supposed to suck it. Should I put some formula in there sometimes, you think he would start to realize then? Or will he just get the hang of it on his own time? Basically I'm clueless as to when kids normally start to use them, I have no idea!!
Thanks mamas!
