I just noticed that I got mine today, too--less than I was expecting, though. I suppose I only got $300 for me because my tax burden is so rediculously low (my tax return/credit this year was over $3,000. I don't think I paid that much in; I was in AmeriCorps for half of the year.)
Anyway. It's all in my savings for now, the side of the partition that is for special projects and such, not emergency money. I'll probably do some crazy split...here's what I'm thinking right now:
$100 to emergency savings.
$100 to...tattoo fund, as a reward for reaching a goal of mine.
Rest split between the auto shop and house fund, I suppose. Stupid mechanic looked at my car and said everything was just fine...mmm, no. It needs it's 80,000-mile maintenance routine, with a tune up. I was kinda pissed that he just changed the oil and gave it back to me.
