Where I went to college, the whole school used to celebrate Beltane. Actually they still do. They even have a May Pole. We would get up early, drink champagne and eat strawberries, then spend the entire day drunk, sitting in fountains in our nightgowns with flowers in our hair. I went to a witchy festival last weekend in honour of Beltane. I got me some rad witchy herbs, some incense and a great tri-moon necklace. It was sorta cheesy but it was nice to see some other non-christians having a little hoe-down. They even had veggie food! in WISCONSIN!
