He's Gone

Submitted by CordeetMente on Mon, 04/28/2008 - 2:27am.

My grandfather passed this evening. He had his wife, daughters, sons-in-law, and grandchildren with him. It was as peaceful as one could hope. I am so sad to have lost him.

Tomorrow morning I have to go take a final. I know this seems so tedious relatively. But my full scholarship rides on my grades and I am honestly unprepared. I would be very grateful if you had any good hipMama vibes to help me tomorrow.

And more importantly, I would like for you all to know that a truly great man has left this world.

Thank you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm glad his family was able to be there with him. It does not make it any easier for those left behind, though. And it's so hard that life - like taking a final - must go on. Good luck and vibes for the exam.

It is so hard to lose one that you loved so much.
Good luck tomorrow...I know that you will do well in the face of adversity.

It must be difficult to have to continue on so soon without getting a chance to really breathe.

Vibes for tomorrow, vibes for you and your family.
