How I daydream...

Hal and I have been doing a lot of mental planning and fantasizing about moving from the small town we live in. Realistically, we know that staying in the same county is good for us because of Hal's job. However, that doesn't prevent me from daydreaming about city life in Chicago. And who knows, once I start working again some new opportunities may arise. Have you used the Google map before? Some areas have been photographed so you can see what the area actually looks like! Its the coolest thing eva. I Google'd our old hood in Chi'town, Humboldt Park, and got an excellent view of the sub shop that we lived right above.

We lived on the corner of Division and California. My heart is filled with such good memories of that city. Some bad, but mostly good.

Old Hood.

If you click on the park a couple times, you can see the two streets I'm talking about. And if you're really handy with the map, you can find the sub shop, which I'm having a hard time locating again.

That stinky old place was awesome. Except for all the rats.

zillo.com is pretty cool, too, M. When we were buying the house, we used it alot and it was so cool to see things realistically. Daydreaming is a good thing...it gives us all a break from reality! Smiling
You must live, not simply exist.
