1. DH, DS and FIL went to the beach for the weekend. The primary motivation for this was to give me an uniterrupted time to prepare for my upcoming finals. Through the course of the semester I had managed to get ahead of the work but lost that lead after my accident and DS' birthday weekends. So this is much needed time for me and I know they will have a great time "just the boys." I am very aware of how lucky we are to have the availability of IL's place at the beach and that DS is so close with his grandparents.
2. Had DS' four year old picture taken on Friday:


3. It is sunny and bright outside, I'm set up at my kitchen table with coffee and the windows open.
4. Slept in my bed ALONE last night and was able to stay in bed this morning after waking up until I wanted to get up of my own free will!
5. Will get three papers written today. Tomorrow will outline all of Property course.
6. Kind of like hearing DS' new pet gerbil (bday present from Aunt) spinning in his wheel; its a little like having some company.
7. Mailed out all of DS' thank you notes this morning - less than one week after the party, thank you very much!
8. The Wailin' Jennys are meeting my mood perfectly today
9. Every so often while I'm reading cases my computer slideshow comes up; the pictures on it show a very happy little boy in his many changed stages thus far.
10. Come hell or high water my finals will be done by the end of the month and I will be free! (At least until Summer semester begins!)
