LOTS of pictures from DS' party yesterday. We had a good time and I think he did too. It was the first time we had a fair amount of kids & it was wild & fun!!! DS, my sister and I made chicky from a balloon, soda cans and newspaper. It was a fun activity we did a few weekends ago. Apparently though we may have made him a little too well-enforced. Each of the kids hit her until they tired themselves out and even then it took three rounds til she broke open! But it was definitely the highlight of the party. They just couldn't believe we said, "Here take this bat & hit as hard as you can!" "I have no country. As a woman, I want no country. You've such a darling family. Seriously, if you all made Chicky the piñata, I for one would love to see instructions/how to!!! It was fab-looking!!! We always had piñatas at our birthday parties growing up (natch since I'm half-Mexican, practically sacrilege NOT to have one!) but when I picked one up recently for my nephew at our local mercado they all had Disney or Barbie or TTFT themes...ugh, would like to make one that's NOT that! Did you guys make him? Seriously, if you are a full-time law student, full-time kick ass mom, AND make crazy cool pinatas on the side, you are over-the-top amazing. Of course, same is true if lil chicky was not your doing. Your family is the cutest, looks like a great time! i agree with the comment about the pinata, it totally rocks!! and your dh looks like that guy from buffy and angel. but i'm sure you've heard that before!
