God, I am exhausted! I have been fighting a cold since two weeks ago & my body is just lagging today. I've been cleaning and preparing all day. (Wonderfully, my FIL called about 10 this morning to see if DS wanted to plant some seeds...they've been gone ever since and his sugars have been great! I owe Pop!) The house is clean, all rooms straightened, swept, dusted, all floors and bathrooms have been scrubbed. I just got back from the grocery store and should start the cake but I feel like taking a nap. I love getting ready for his parties. They are one of the few times we host things at our homes and it is fun to have everyone celebrate with us. I love getting things speacial and fun for him. I love his excitment and anticipation about his friends coming to have a party - for him! But man, I forgot how much work it is to get everything together. I'm so glad that we decided to have it this weekend and not just after my accident. I don't think I could have managed. I'll be sure to post some pictures tomorrow. Wish all the hipMamas and hipKiddos could be here with us! Love to all!
