how would you decorate a eco-friendly party? as i said in the other blog, i am going to be going somewhere, but i'm not sure if they decorate, or if i have to. either way, i'd like to to be nice but not disposable.

anyone?

Oddly enough, I just came across this,

http://www.epicurious.com/articlesguides/entertaining/partiesevents/gree...

with ideas for green party/decorating. It's a lot fancier, likely, than what you are looking for, but there are good ideas (using colorful handkerchiefs for napkins, ideas where to buy recycled non-plastic tableware, etc). At the very least, it may spark some ideas (nothing worse than starting with blankness). Have fun-- sounds like a supercool party!!!
