Did any of you mamas have numbness on your stomach afterwards? My stomach, well above the actual scar, was numb for a really long time afterwards, just now starting to get most all of the feeling back, and it's been almost a year. Just curious if that's happened to anyone else? I'm so happy I asked this! I've always wondered if it was just me, if they screwed up or something. But I wasn't too terribly concerned, there's no pain and it seemed to be coming back, if not slowly. So it's nice to hear that it's seems like a common side effect. It's one of those things that no one tells you about! BleuRoo Handcrafted Sweetness it is so strange because it is numb but very tender at the same time. i had no idea that it is a phenomenon. ditto for me still numb. baby was born last June. Jessica I went almost a year with no feeling on/around the insision. I also of course had some severed abdominal muscles.. sweet deal I tell ya . happened to my sis who had a c section. she still has no feeling there. right along the incision line for at least a few months, but i healed really quickly otherwise. as the feeling came back it was sorta itchy, and that lasted maybe a few weeks. but it's all fine now. i don't even have a visable scar.
